Meet Dan.
Dan is a born and raised Iowan, and lives in Davenport with his wife, Samantha, and their four kids. Having been a voice for Davenport Public schools as a board member since 2015 and current President, Dan brings a wealth of experience and a profound dedication to public service to this campaign. Gosa is a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators Local 81, and was elected as the President of the Quad City Federation of Labor in 2021. His “Stronger Together” platform is built upon years of advocacy for the Davenport community, aiming to protect and strengthen our public schools, support hardworking Iowans, and make sure Iowa House District 81 is a place for people to thrive and find new opportunities.
Throughout Dan’s career and personal endeavors, Dan has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to labor, education, and our communities. Dan believes in fostering economic prosperity, comprehensive and accessible education opportunities for all Davenport kids, and aims to be a voice for the hardworking Iowans of Davenport at the state capitol.
